Most of this week was spent about an hour’s flight away from our area in the beautiful north. Blessing of being an STL. The best part of it all was getting to see our sisters, and they’re doing great.
Monday at P-day, it rained buckets, so we watched as the elders played touch rugby in the mud at qito.
Tuesday at district meeting, I gave an insight in district meeting about Hufflepuff and tied it back to becoming excellent finders through the spirit, through positive contacts and by just being our friendly selves.
Wednesday morning, we left for the airport at 5 o’clock in the morning. It was a quick ride to the airport since it’s just down the road in Nadi. The flight took about one hour, and we got to see the beautiful blue ocean for at least 30 minutes of it. The rest of our flight was just golden puffy clouds. We started our exchanges in Somosomo, Taveuni. Also known as “the garden island”. Taveuni is covered with beautiful green trees and bushes, surrounded by clear blue ocean. The people there are so friendly, and they stopped us all along the way to say hello.
Thursday morning, we took a little motorboat to Savusavu. And we spent Friday and Saturday in Labasa. After that, we came back to our area by plane, grateful for the time that we got to spend with our sisters and feeling exhausted. It was a wonderful trip and we learned a lot from each sister. It was so great to see all of them and the many ways that missionaries love, serve, and teach all those around them.
Looking forward to a baptism on Tuesday this week.
Love you all tons and tons.
More next week!
